Green Creatine Slushie: Who here is still working

Green Creatine Slushie: Who here is still working on their New Year’s Resolutions?! I am! The last 7 months have certainly been a roller coaster of waning and waxing will power, but I refuse to give up on my 2024 goal of achieving a stronger body. You see, last year I gave birth to a gorgeous baby boy on the eve of my 40th birthday. And let me tell you, the later-in-life pregnancy and infant-induced insomnia have done quite the number on my muscles. I am just not feeling as strong as I used to. So I’ve teamed up with one of my favorite brands @nakednutrition to address an effective post-workout routine that will help with my recovery and muscle building. Anyone want a sip of my Green Creatine Slushie?!

Green Creatine Slushie

Time: 5 min; Serves: 1

INGREDIENTS:

1 scoop Naked Creatine
1 cup ice
½ cup almond milk
½ cup spinach
¼ cup berries of choice
1 tablespoon flaxseeds
1 tablespoon of nut butter of choice

DIRECTIONS:

1. Throw all the ingredients into a blender.
2. Blend until a slushie consistency forms. Add additional almond milk to smooth as needed.
3. Stretch and enjoy!

What I love most about the Naked products is that they are accessible to everyone. Even a 40-something mom like me can access and enjoy these supplements, while learning their benefits and incorporating them into daily life. Make sure to order your own jar of Naked Creatine and check out all the amazing products that Naked Nutrition has to offer. So tell me mamas, what are some of your tried and true routines to keeping up with resolutions?

Fun fact: I am officially back after an extensive

Fun fact: I am officially back after an extensive maternity leave. Yes, that is baby purée on my shirt and I have had my hair in a perpetual messy bun for 15 months. #AD And a related fun fact, now as a mom of two, I am really tired! So I’m making this summer all about easy, fast, no-hassle meals that I can enjoy while chasing around a disturbingly fast toddler. Seriously, why is he so fast?! Luckily I teamed up this month with … to taste-test and photograph some pretty tasty grub. Here’s the lowdown…

Banquet MEGA Original Crispy Chicken Filets: Inspired by your favorite fast food, these babies are made with 100% white meat chicken. Coming in at 4 ounces, the filets feature a delicious crispy crust with yummy breading. Perfect for homemade chicken sandwiches!

Birds Eye Garlic Butter Broccoli: Getting my greens with this scrumptious broccoli in garlic butter sauce. Just pop the steamfresh bag in the microwave and enjoy!
evol Chicken Adobo: When I want a restaurant-style meal at home, this is my go-to! Featuring two sides, this dish has chicken, cilantro rice topped with a red chile adobo sauce, and elote style corn.

Frontera Cheese Enchiladas with Red Enchilada Sauce: Two enchiladas filled with cheese, topped with a red enchilada sauce and cheese?! And all I have to do is pop it in the microwave for a few minutes?! Yes, please!

Healthy Choice Café Steamers Chicken Alfredo: This healthy take on an Italian classic features grilled chicken breast with penne pasta in a creamy alfredo sauce. With 24g of protein and 340 calories per bowl, it’s exactly what this mama needs to get through a day of chasing after a toddler.

Marie Callender’s Orange Chicken: Tempura white meat chicken in a sweet and citrusy orange sauce served over a bed of white rice… stop, it’s too much sexiness! It has no preservatives, no artificial colors, no artificial flavors, and 14g protein. So yes, very sexy!

So tell me, which one are you going to try first?

Spicy Beer & Beef Galette with @lauras_lean! #ad I

Spicy Beer & Beef Galette with @lauras_lean! #ad It may sound crazy, but Father’s Day is sneaking up on us. AH! #ad So it’s time to start preparing for a day to spoil that special dad in your life. Today, I’ve teamed up with Laura’s Lean to create an irresistible recipe that everyone will enjoy this holiday. Featuring beer, jalapeños, smoked paprika, fresh apricots, and Laura’s Lean 96% Lean Ground Beef, this is one killer galette.

This recipe includes all natural ingredients (even the @lauras_lean beef!), so you know that you can feel good about the dish. In particular, I think the quality of meat is non-negotiable. Laura’s Lean products meet strict USDA standard to qualify as lean, also making it certified by the American Heart Association as “Extra Lean”. Best of all, Laura’s Lean 96% Lean Ground Beef is a “Never Ever” offering. What is a “Never Ever” beef, you ask? It means that the protein is sourced from cattle that was raised on vegetarian feed and without added hormones or antibiotics. Alright, enough of my jabbering… let’s get to cooking!

Spicy Beer & Beef Galette

INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. @Lauras_lean 96% Lean Ground Beef
4 tbs. beer (divided)
1 jalapeño (diced)
1/2 red onion (sliced)
1 fresh apricot (sliced)
2 tbs. yellow mustard
1 tbs. + 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
1 tbs. salt
Fresh basil (shredded)
Frozen puff pastry sheet
2 eggs

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 425F & line baking sheet w/ parchment.
2. Roll out puff pastry into large rectangle (10”x14”) & place on baking sheet.
3. Mix together 2 tbs. beer, 1 egg, 1 tbs. smoked paprika, salt, & jalapeño. Add Laura’s Lean 96% Lean Ground Beef & combine.
4. Dump meat mix on puff pastry. Spread evenly within 1 inch of edges.
5. Top with sliced onion & apricot. Fold edges of puff pastry along ends. Brush w/ egg white wash.
6. Place in oven & bake 20—25 min. Make sauce by combining mustard, 2 tbs. beer, & 1/2 tsp. paprika.
7. Remove from oven. Drizzle mustard beer sauce on top & serve hot.

Make sure to check out @Lauras_Lean in the meat section at your local market. So tell me, which dad in your life would enjoy this recipe the most?
